1. How does the booking process work?
There are four simple steps to book a studio in Montreal with MyStudioMontreal. Please see our How to Book Section.
2. How do I pay for the booking?
You will be require to pay a 250$ fee for your reservation to confirm your booking. The Balance must be paid in cash on arrival. You can pay the 250$ deposit by credit card in our website, by western union, or by bank wire. More information on our "payment" section.
3. Will I need to pay a damage deposit for the studio?
Yes, there is a cash damage deposit which will need to be paid upon arrival at the studio in Montreal. The amount varies per apartment ranging from 150$ to 500$ (usually 250$) see that information on the detail page of the apartment you are choosing. The booking deposit is used as a security deposit and is refundable on departure.
4. How do I cancel my reservation?
If the client cancels a fully paid reservation, there is a cancellation charge that will depend on the number of days before the beginning of the rental period. Please note that the 250$ reservation deposit is non-refundable:
窶｢ More than 90 days before: 20% of the total amount.
窶｢ 60-89 days before: 30% of the total amount.
窶｢ 30-59 days before: 50% of the total amount.
窶｢ Less than 30 days before: 100% of the total amount.
5. What happens if I break something?
Please call MyStudioMontreal.com as soon as possible to assess the damage. We will do our best to try and fix or replace the item/s and reach a decision if whether there is any charge incurred.
6. When is check in or check out?
The apartment will be available at 15hPM in the afternoon. Check out time is 11hAM. Please request late check out prior to arrival and we will try our best to accommodate to your needs. Note that there is a fee of 30$ for late check ins after 21:00PM, and late check outs after 11hAM.
7. How will I get the keys to the apartment?
You will be met at the apartment in Montreal upon your arrival by a member of MyStudioMontreal.com staff who hand over the keys and also show you around the apartment.
8. What if I need help or information during my stay?
There will be a member of MyStudioMontreal staff available to answer any of your questions during business hours. Outside business hours you can also contact us in a case of emergency.
9. Will I need an adaptor for using the appliances in the apartment
For all appliances supplied in the apartments you will not need continental American adaptors. Hairdryers are supplied but to operate other bathroom appliances which you might bring on your travels like electric shavers, curling irons etc., you will need a continental American adaptor.
